Who we are?
Future Center for Youth Issues is a free volunteer center which works for the sake of special issues of youths. Its duty is increasing youths’ awareness level through open and democratic dialogues for the sake of youths’ participating more actively in the society’s different fields for obtaining political, social and economical changes. At the same time it tries to press the officials’ behalf (authority) for finding suitable solution for youths’ issues.
The aims:
The most important aims which Future Center for Youth Issues tries for are:
• Increasing youths’ awareness level.
• Making democratic atmosphere for dialogue.
• Encouraging youths for participating more actively in political aspect.
• Subscribing the forgiveness spirit among youths.
• Subscribing the equality spirit between males and females.
• Decreasing the gap between youth and authority.
• Obtaining positive changes in youths’ life.
Working style:
The working style of this center is as follows:
• Organizing ways for dialogue in the shape of workshops, meetings, conferences and mini conferences for the sake of increasing youths’ awareness level and enriching knowledge background through introducing them to principles of today’s developed world (civil society).
• Making networks and relations with civil society organizations and centers for working on youths’ issues.
• Making use of media channels for reaching this center’s voice to the whole youths in Kurdistan.
• Doing referendums concerning youths and related issues for identifying the problems and working for their solution (treatment).
• Conducting practical activities; like, mobile theater, caricature exhibitions, festivals, marathons, sweeping campaigns … etc.
